Some back-office providers treat confidentiality as a selling point: something to highlight in a proposal or a pitch deck. We treat it as a baseline obligation: the minimum required to do this work responsibly.
What we actually see
We work inside the financial systems of our clients. We see payroll figures, vendor contracts, burn rates, and funding positions. That access is extended in trust. Every member of our team operates under that understanding from day one.
How we structure it
Our operating practices include: strict data segmentation between client engagements, no cross-client personnel access to financials, encrypted file transfer for all sensitive documents, and signed confidentiality obligations as a condition of every engagement, not as an afterthought in a contract appendix.
Why we do not advertise it
Because confidentiality is not a differentiator. It is table stakes. If a provider needs to emphasise it, that should prompt a question about why it requires emphasis at all.
Our clients do not wonder whether their data is safe with us. That question was settled before the engagement began.
